On the evening of September 15th, Officers responded to the Bothwell Regional Health Center, 601 East 14th Street, for a report of a hit and run accident. Officers made contact with the victim, who stated another vehicle backed into her vehicle and left the scene without exchanging information. Officers were able to identify the other vehicle. Shaun C. Webb, 52, of Sedalia, was arrested for Leaving the Scene of an Accident and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of West 4th Street and South Kentucky Avenue Monday night. The driver was found to have an extraditable warrant out of Johnson County for Failure to Appear on original charges of Driving While Revoked. Ansley Eugene Sims, 18, of Columbia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail where they were booked in pending a bond of $500 cash or surety.
Monday night, Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of West 32nd Street and South Grand Avenue. The driver and passenger were identified. A probable cause search was conducted. A controlled substance and drug paraphernalia were found inside the vehicle. Both the driver and the passenger were arrested. Julie Marie Dickinson, 44, and Mark Adrian Green, 43, both of Columbia, were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both Dickinson and Green were placed on a 24 hour hold pending charges.

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Probation and Parole Office, 205 Thompson Avenue Monday afternoon in reference to a warrant check. A client at the office had an active warrant from Johnson County for Non Support. When the warrant was confirmed active, Cornell E. Staten, 37, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Bond was set at $1500 cash only.
